Having only launched in January 2018 with debut single ‘aurora’, Edinburgh dark pop group, folda, quickly grabbed the attention of both local and national press. ‘unspoken’ is the opening track to the band’s ‘lust EP’.
‘unspoken’ is a raw blend of electronic, rock, and pop. The band know how to write a catchy melody. This song will get your foot stomping. Dark effected vocal harmonies accompanied by colorful pop music, what more can a guy ask for? I love it.
There are traditional pop elements combined with the new vamping of electronic music. Low kick drums, large builds, Oscillated bass notes, silence, and boom into the drop chorus. I can immediately imagine myself immersed in the crowd at one of folda’s live shows and rocking my head off. It’s that good.
