‘Scattered,’ is available in most (looking at you Pandora) places you digest music. Please take a moment to listen and follow me if you haven’t yet.
This song is a small departure from the music I usually create, but I think it still showcases my personality. What I like most about ‘Scattered’ is how the track builds over time, and the distorted vocal layers seem to be screaming to be heard in a world of drowned out voices.
Today, it seems that we’re seeing the voices of the people being drowned out by corrupt politicians, corporations, and greed. Concepts that in no way reflect the voices of the people. Endless consumption and greed are given priority over protecting the Earth. It’s causing catastrophic damage that plagues and scars the planet and costs human lives.
‘Scattered’ is a reflection of how I’ve been feeling trying to reconcile the widespread panic, desperation, depression, angst, and reluctant acceptance of where we find ourselves in the world.
Try to remember that we’re all trying to do our best, the best way we know how.
