Lady Luck by Forest Falls

Melbourne natives, Forest Falls, are back with their sophomore EP, Modern Love. The first track “Lady Luck” is inspired. From the soft intro and vocal harmonies to the huge guitars and buzzy outro, this song is one of their best.

In their own words:

“Lady Luck was originally penned as a prize for a Pozible campaign contributor supporting our last EP, ‘Hounds’ which we recorded with ARIA Award-winning producer, Wayne Connolly (Cloud Control, All Our Exes Live in Texas, The Paper Kites).

‘The person I was working with wanted the song to be about parenthood, so I decided to get stuck into my own experiences of growing up. In my case, with two mums,’ says Jon, Forest Falls’ lead vocalist and songwriter.”

Break from writing #beach — with Jeremy Hallett, Jon Forest and Lucy G Rasch.

The EP is a amazing from start to finish. “Marking a distinct evolution to 2015’s EP ‘Hounds’, new EP Modern Love (2019) is an alt pop gem showcasing the evolution of Forest Falls’ searing musicianship and diversity of influence.”
