Satisfied by Adrian Prath

Some songs get you through the day, either you’re up or you’re down, some songs are exactly what you need, “Satisfied” by Adrian Prath is what I needed today.

It’s hard not to hear traces of the Shins and other indie greats that have influenced Prath’s sound. Both are calming, laid back, easy. The smooth guitar that plays throughout the song is a constant reminder to keep going, it’s hopeful. It makes me long for the sunny days at the end of the summer leading into autumn. I want to drive up the California coast on the long winding road.

“Satisfied” is like a dream, it has this feeling of a blur around the edges. Like you must squint to hear the fine details, but when you do they’re there, and they’re great.

“Satisfied” is the first track on Prath’s new album The Navigator. You can find Adrian Prath on his website, facebook, and bandcamp.
