Emmy Law is far and away one of my favorite artists. She is gracious, kind, and talented. Her voice alone is enough to give you goosebumps. If you heard her singing in passing your head would turn to find the source of one of the best voices out there. Mind’s Eye is beautiful. Pure and simple. With layered effected vocals and a beautiful piano Mind’s Eye evokes so many emotions.
For me, I am blown away by how effortlessly the song goes from verse to chorus; the cello coming into play, the lyrics, the pitter-patter rhythm. But you may be blown away by the raw emotion, the sorrow, the bittersweet, take your pick. Mind’s Eye by Emmy Law is the closing track on the Fairyland EP, and it is such a great close to the album, because it does what every good song does; it leaves me wanting so much more.
